Getting Started

iOS (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Open the App Store on your iOS device
  2. Search for "RMDme"
  3. Tap "Get" to download and install the app
  4. Open RMDme and sign in or create an account

Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device
  2. Search for "RMDme"
  3. Tap "Install" to download and install the app
  4. Open RMDme and sign in or create an account

Creating reminders with RMDme is quick and easy:

  1. Tap the text field at the top of the screen
  2. Type your reminder, e.g., "Call Alex tomorrow at 3pm"
  3. RMDme automatically extracts the date, time, and contact
  4. Review and confirm your reminder

Pro Tip

You can also use the microphone button to speak your reminders naturally — RMDme will understand you!

Features

The Friend Vault is your personal knowledge base for the people you care about. Store important information like:

Birthdays and anniversaries
Favorite foods and restaurants
Gift ideas and wish lists
Important notes and memories

Yes! RMDme works offline with some limitations:

Voice input uses Apple's on-device speech recognition
View and manage existing reminders
Smart features require an internet connection
Cloud sync happens automatically when you're back online
  1. Go to the Friends section in the app
  2. Invite friends using their email or share link
  3. Once connected, select "You"
  4. Create a new reminder and select the friend you want to send it to

To protect your data with end-to-end encryption:

  1. Go to Settings in the app
  2. Tap on "Privacy & Security"
  3. Enable "End-to-End Encryption"
  4. Create a secure encryption key or passphrase

Important

Keep your encryption key safe! If you lose it, you won't be able to recover your encrypted data.

Troubleshooting

  • Check that microphone permissions are enabled:
    Settings > RMDme Settings > Apps > RMDme > Permissions
  • Make sure you're in a quiet environment
  • Try restarting the app
  • Update to the latest version of RMDme
  • Check your internet connection
  • Make sure you're signed in to your account
  • Pull down on the reminder list to force a sync
  • Enable notifications:
    Settings > Notifications > RMDme Settings > Apps > RMDme > Notifications
  • Make sure "Do Not Disturb" is not enabled
  • Check that the reminder has a valid date and time
  • Restart your device if issues persist

Account & Data

You can delete your account at any time directly in the app:

Open RMDme and go to Settings

Tap on "Account"

Tap "Delete Account" and confirm

Warning

Account deletion is permanent. All your reminders, vault items, and personal data will be permanently deleted immediately and cannot be recovered.

When you delete your account:

Your account credentials are immediately removed
All reminders and vault items are permanently deleted
Push notification tokens are deleted
You will no longer receive any notifications from RMDme
